That error means it's not activated, you need to activate the RAP with reactpsn.I get this error for both Jurassic Park Operation Genesis (USA) and Monster Hunter 2 Dos (Japan). JPOG ran correctly ONCE with graphical errors, but Monster hunter always gave me this error about copyright protection. And now JPOG gives it to me.

How do I go about activating the RAP file for these 2 ps2 games? I thought just activating the reactpsn that one time when you install placeholder r3 was all the reactpsn you needed.explanation please? I get this error for both Jurassic Park Operation Genesis (USA) and Monster Hunter 2 Dos (Japan). Go to PS2 Classics placeholder folder and paste PS2 Classics RAP file. Enable Debug PKG mode and install PS2 Classic Placeholder PKG. I've figured out how to play PS2 ISOs on PS3. Download and install reactPSN 3.10 (or 3.11) Here Download PS2 Classics Placeholder R3 with.
And now JPOG gives it to me. How do I go about activating the RAP file for these 2 ps2 games? I thought just activating the reactpsn that one time when you install placeholder r3 was all the reactpsn you needed.explanation please? It depends on what RAP was used when converting the game, if the game was converted using the Placeholder RAP then the it should work since you already activated that RAP with ReactPSN but if it was converted with a different RAP then you will have to run ReactPSN again(naming the profile aa etc.) with the new RAP. If you got it pre-converted check to see if it came with a RAP. Jurassic park works now 'flawlessly' after using all the rap files I could find in the version 2 ps3tools folder.actually I think there was only 2?monster hunter just gives me a black screen with no ps2 boot logo.

Can you explain to me the exact procedure of how to activate the rap file for this monster hunter game correctly? You state that I have to activate it prior to converting the ISO to a classic 'should work since you already activated that RAP with ReactPSN but if it was converted with a different RAP then you will have to run ReactPSN again(naming the profile aa etc.) with the new RAP.'
The author doesn't really explain the activating of rap files for each individual game or maybe I'm just mixed up or he didn't expect these errors. It would be kind of you if you properly explain how to activate the rap file, and which rap file, for monster hunter 2 dos. I will start from scratch if I have to as in deleting reactpsn, placeholder r3, and ps2 classics manager as well as the memory cards. I'm pretty sure that you've activated it properly since you don't get the 80029515 error, I think it just doesn't work. When you convert a ps2 ISO you need to supply a RAP file(or it's info) and you end up with a ISO.BIN.ENC file which is tied to the RAP you supplied. The RAP that comes with the Placeholder isn't actually a 'universal' RAP but because most people use it to convert some people think that it is universal. If the game doesn't work and you think it's because of activation then you will have to contact the creator or someone else that might have the same file.

So I finally sussed all this out and got it working. The final stages of this guide aren't very clear because I had a lot of trouble transferring the.PKG file to the PS3 because it was over 4gb, which I'm assuming most packaged ps2 games are going to be.I had to find various other guides and put all the pieces together and use multiman and FileZilla to transfer it via Ethernet cable. Then install it and It all worked fine.I'm not sure if this guide will allow multi disk ps2 games to be packaged together so I'm going to look into it and ill report back once I find out.Dan.
